A few notes

Sorry I've been away.  I'll try and catch you up.  Pictures will come later.

Sadly I have to inform you of a passing.

Bruba is no longer with us.  It was about a week ago at Monkey Joe's when it first happened.  Caleb called out for Carter.

Not "Bruba" but "Cah yuh".

Since then "Bruba" has been no more.  He is officially "Cah yuh" now.  It kinda makes me sad.  I liked "Bruba"!
Also - Jackson is no longer "Ka Ka" but is now "Ja Son".

Carter is going through an unusual stage.  At first he was constantly telling me about a wreck happening.
"Mommy, there was a bad wreck in North Carolina because of the snow and ice."  He would pile up his cars and have me come look at it and would tell me all about how they wrecked.  This was happening multiple times a day.  I was a little bothered by this so the next time he started his wreck story I told him wrecks weren't a good thing as people could get hurt and we didn't want to talk about wrecks where people could get hurt.

So then he started saying, "Mommy, there was a bad wreck in North Carolina, but no one got hurt."

Recently he has stopped the wreck stories and is now on to stories about "this guy".  Whenever I tell him something - what we are going to do today, what we are going to eat - anything, he starts telling me about "this guy".  For example when I told him we were going to take our books to the library and go to the grocery store.  Immediately he starts saying, "Mommy, there was this guy and one day he had to go to the library because his books were late and then he had to go to the grocery and get some juice."  He always embellishes my info.

It's really strange.

But I have to say I am really lovin' my boys right now.  They are fun and funny and sweet and up until a couple of days ago - really well behaved.  We hit a little snag a couple of days ago but we will recover.

A note to Miss Mason who says kids should be outside 4-6 hours a day.
     Monday - 6 beautiful hours
     Tuesday - 7.5 gorgeous hours
We soaked up every inch of sunshine we could knowing it was going to rain all day yesterday and today.  Luckily we got out this afternoon for an hour or so and got really really really muddy - really.
